Titan is a scientific editor developed by Writefull (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

1. Data We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google or create an account with email, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. This information is provided by Google or entered by you.

Documents and files. Your documents are stored locally on your device by default. When you use collaboration features, document content is synchronized through our servers to enable real-time editing with other users.

Usage data. We collect anonymized usage metrics to improve Titan, including feature usage, performance data, and error reports. This data does not include your document content.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the Titan editor
• To authenticate your identity and manage your account
• To enable real-time collaboration when you share documents
• To monitor and improve performance, stability, and security
• To enforce usage quotas and prevent abuse

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — authentication and infrastructure
• Sentry — error tracking and performance monitoring
• Mixpanel — anonymized product analytics
• Google Cloud Platform — hosting and data storage

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to any third party.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account data and collaboration data are stored on servers in the European Union (Google Cloud, europe-west4 region). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Documents edited in local mode remain on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Usage analytics are retained in aggregated form. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your documents at any time

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the application. Continued use of Titan after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
